We had a blast planning the party!

Thanks to all for a wonderful weekend - great to see so many familiar and kind faces.

In early January, we set out to enlist anyone that was willing to help organize a fun, comfortable and inclusive celebration of the 40th Anniversary of our Graduation from J-D. The planning process was collaborative and fun, mostly because we shared the common desire to maximize participation, by making ALL of our classmates feel comfortable to attend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the virtual Breakfast Club meetings that we held to get organized. So many talented and creative people in our class, and your friends on the committee are some of the very best.

If you attended this weekend, I hope you left fortified after "going home again". I hope you realize that all along - through all of your challenges and all of your successes - we have ALL been rooting for the best for you.

If you were not able to make it in for any reason - I hope that you and all of the ones you love are well. It would be great to be able to catch up with everybody at some point down the road.

True to form, our class is empathetic, generous and impactful. In a few days, we will share the final amount that we are able to send to the Jamesville-DeWitt Counseling Center to use as needed for crisis intervention or assistance for struggling students. We have been told by the administration that they have never received such a gift, and it is appreciated as much as it is needed.

Have a great summer! Happiness and health for your next 40 years!!
